The spring 2013 i3 Lecture Series hosted by the MPS Digital Photography Department welcomes alumnus and award-winning photographer Natan Dvir (MFA 2010 Photo, Video, and Related Media). Natan is known for his portrayals of individuals living in societies torn apart by political and economic upheaval.

Whether you are conducting a job search or building your freelance business or professional practice, this workshop will focus on some simple strategies to advance your career. Tips for smarter networking, presenting oneself, building community, and staying calm and energized during challenging times will be addressed. The format is a brief presentation by career counselors followed by a Q&A.

A Successful Alumni Mixer in Williamsburg

On February 20 at Radegasthall, over 40 alumni came out to mingle and listen to alumnus Marc McAndrews (BFA 1998 Photography) discuss his new book, Nevada Rose, Inside the American Brothel, which captures the day-to-day reality of legal prostitution. Stay tuned for more events in Brooklyn!
