Alumnus Creates Animated Kids Show Picked Up by Nickelodeon

Breadwinners, a new series based on an animated short of the same name by Gary Doodles (BFA 2005 Animation), a.k.a. Gary DiRaffaele, has been picked up by Nickelodeon for 20 episodes. Created by Doodles and Steve Borst, Breadwinners tells the adventures of two zany ducks who operate a bread delivery service from their jet-fueled rocket van. The ducks also happen to love dancing to dub step, which provides the soundtrack to their journeys.
Doodles and Borst’s show is one of several new series that Nickelodeon’s parent company Viacom hopes will re-invigorate its programming and gain new audiences.
